Using social media to market the ISU Alumni Association's "Traveling Cyclones" program was a new effort with the launch of the "Cyclones Everywhere" brand in 2017. While social media was not a top channel for direct travel bookings, it played an important role in marketing the travel program and building awareness. Key brand messages integrated into the content were "Travel with Cy," "Cyclones Everywhere," "lifelong memories," and "adventure." As director of marketing and communications, I was hands-on in creating all the graphics and copy for these various promotions:
